One feature in particular, the Agent Resources page, was created specifically to help insurance companies connect directly with agents. In this article we will dive a little deeper into what the Agent Resource pages include and how to access them.
How Do Agent Resource Pages Help Agents?
TrustedChoice.com’s national insurance company directory is continuously updated to include IA carriers, MGAs and wholesalers that do business in the United States. Each of these companies has a profile on TrustedChoice.com that contains information about the states they serve and lines of business offered, which is helpful for both consumers as well as agents.
For information that is specifically designed for agents, we rolled out our new Agent Resources pages that insurance companies can choose to include on their profile.
A typical insurance company’s Agent Resource page includes:
- Company contact information specifically for agents
- Information on how to become an appointed agent with the company
- Appetite information which may include appetite by sector, product benefits, premium guidance, interactive sell sheets and other collateral, underwriting guidelines, even state-specific variation
- Login or links to the company’s agent portal
- News and articles written specifically for agents

All of these resources are designed to make it easier for agents to learn more about the insurance company’s products and services, to get appointed and to connect directly with the insurance company.
How Do I Access Agent Resources on TrustedChoice.com?
Next time you’re researching an insurance company, your first stop should be the insurance company directory on TrustedChoice.com. You can search by name or see a list of companies by state or line of business.
Once you find the company you are looking for, click “View Profile” on the company listing and then look for the Agent Resources button at the top of their profile, similar to this:
